Kuwait's Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Salem Abdullah AlJaber Al-Sabah met on Thursday Lord Tariq Ahmad, the UK Minister of State for Middle East Affairs, on sidelines of the ministerial conference of Global Coalition against Islamic State/Daesh. The two sides examined the historic and distinctive relations bonding the State of Kuwait with the UK, means of cementing these ties in various sectors, forthcoming events in line with the strategic dialogue and promoting these relations to higher levels. They also addressed regional and international issues, namely Iraq, Syria, Iran, conditions in the occupied Palestinian territories, in addition to boosting global efforts in the face of extremism and terrorism as well as backing world's peace.
