The Kuwaiti side in the first round of the strategic dialogue between the State of Kuwait and the French Republic was chaired by Ambassador Majdi Ahmed Al-Dhafiri, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, while the French side was chaired by His Excellency Mr. Franck Riaster, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, which was held in the French capital, Paris.   During the dialogue session, aspects of the strategic friendship relations between the State of Kuwait and the French Republic were reviewed, in addition to the presentation of the working groups on aspects of the relations between the State of Kuwait and the French Republic. Each working group briefed Their Excellencies on the work of their teams and what has been achieved, in addition to the future work plan to strengthen this relationship.   It is worth noting that the strategic dialogue, whose first session was held on January 4th 2022 in Paris, is a mechanism that was developed between the two countries, with a desire to achieve new horizons for relations between them according to a follow-up mechanism during which plans are drawn up to achieve these goals and follow-up on their implementation in line with the nature of the distinguished strategic relations between the two friendly countries. Semi-annual meetings according to this mechanism alternate between the two capitals. The delegation of the State of Kuwait participating in the first round of the strategic dialogue included His Excellency Ambassador Sami Muhammad Al-Sulaiman, Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the French Republic, His Excellency Ambassador Ayham Abdullatif Al-Omar, Assistant Foreign Minister of the Deputy Minister’s Office, and His Excellency Ambassador Nasser Abdullah Al-Hein, Assistant Foreign Minister of European Affairs.
