The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that it appreciates the efforts of the United States of America in resolving the Palestinian issue and ending the Arab-Israeli conflict that stretched for over 70 years and caused so much suffering for the brotherly Palestinian people and worked to destroy safety and stability in the region.  The Ministry also announced that in accordance with the unchangeable principle position of the State of Kuwait of supporting the choices of the Palestinian people, and reconfirming that the fair and comprehensive solution for the Palestinian issue will not be reached until it adheres with legitimate international resolutions and references, in its forefront the establishment of an independent sovereign state in the border of the fourth of June 1967 with its capital of East Jerusalem.
