The Joint Legal Committee between the State of Kuwait and the friendly Islamic Republic of Iran held its work on Monday in the Iranian capital Tehran.
The Kuwaiti side was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Mansour Al-Otaibi, while the Iranian side was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Ambassador Reza Najafi.
During the meeting, they discussed the issue of demarcation of maritime borders between the State of Kuwait and the Islamic Republic of Iran and stressed the need to resolve this matter in a manner consistent with the rules of international law.
