The State of Kuwait and the Russian Federation celebrated the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two friendly countries.
The Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Sunday that the congratulatory messages were exchanged on this occasion yesterday, Saturday, between Foreign Minister Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, and confirmed the depth of friendship between the two countries and their quest to develop bilateral relations in various fields. The constants of the two countries were also confirmed by adhering to international law and international legitimacy and keenness to establish security and stability in the region and the Middle East.
