Kuwait's Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Salem Abdullah AlJaber Al-Sabah phoned his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan on Monday congratulating him on his new post. Sheikh Salem Abdullah wished the new Turkish minister success in his mission, and further progress and prosperity to the two countries' ties and peoples. Meanwhile, Fidan expressed great appreciation to Kuwait for participating in a ceremony held last Saturday to mark selecting President Recep Tayyip Erodgan as the country's leader for a new term in office. He conveyed appreciation of Turkiye to the Kuwaiti leadership's congratulation to Turkiye and its people on this occasion, considering these good sentiments embody clearly brotherhood and love between the two countries and their peoples. Fidan said that Turkiye looks forward to working with Kuwait to enhance bilateral ties and cooperation between the two friendly states in a way that achieves visions of the two countries' leaderships and meets their peoples' aspirations.
