Foreign Minister Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, on the sidelines of the meeting of the Ministerial Council of Foreign Ministers of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf at its 155th session, which will be held today, Wednesday, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council in Riyadh. At the beginning of the meeting, Sheikh Salem Al-Sabah congratulated the tripartite agreement reached between the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the friendly Islamic Republic of Iran on the initiative of His Excellency the President of the friendly People's Republic of China to resume diplomatic relations between the two countries, which is a positive step to maintain security and stability in the region. The meeting also dealt with the bonds of close brotherly relations between the two brotherly countries and peoples, discussed a number of issues related to supporting and promoting the process of joint Gulf action and discussing the most prominent developments on the regional and international arenas.
