Department of Development and International Cooperation Specializations: -

• Supervises the file on Counter Terrorism. 
• Chairs the committee that implements Counter Terrorism resolutions of the United Nations Security Council relating to Chapter 7 of the United Nations Charter. 
• Chairs the National Committee for combating money laundering and terrorism finance. 
• Supervises the file on humanitarian and charity works.
• Facilitates and follows up on Kuwaiti humanitarian delegation visits abroad. 
• Supervises and follows up on the Kuwait National Assembly file, and works to coordinate official parliamentary visits participating in international conferences and bilateral official visits to other Nations. 
• Follows up on the official correspondence between the National Assembly and Arab and International Parliaments.
